Yeh Khula Aasmaan revolves around Avinash, an intelligent young boy who is going through a very demanding and challenging phase of his life. He has to cope with the pressures of academic failure, not living up to his parents' expectations and the isolation of his parents living thousands of miles away. He then turns to his grandfather, a star Kite Runner, who helps Avinash learn to cope with this tough time in his life through life lessons during kite flying sessions. Avinash forges new friendships and rediscovers the love of family in this relationship based film.
