Ranchi Diaries is yet another story on the lines of the protagonists who belong from a small town wanting to make it big in their lives. It's about Gudiya (Soundarya Sharma) who is a young girl from Ranchi who aspires to become a singing sensation and diva just like Shakira. Her wishes and wants attracts an unwanted attention by the local mafia of the city, Thakur Bhaiya (Anupam Kher) and thus she is forced to run away with her childhood lover, Manish (Himansh Kohli). A chain of events occurs which leads to a major mess and chaos.

The couple also meets the alleged godfather of the city (Taaha Shah) who is wanting to help the two get out the ugly situation. The couple along with Taaha and a few other friends plan a bank heist as they are in a dire need of a lot of money.

Their ambitious bank heist becomes the joke of the town when they attempt it as the cop too leaded by Jimmy Shergill are after their lives now. Amidst the chaos between the goons and the cops whether Gudiya and her friends can make it to survival, is what Ranchi Diaries all about.
