The quest to keep the movie short (106 minutes) has taken away the storytelling capacity. While, the first half is a little slow and your mind wanders off atleast a couple of times, the climax is rushed and confuses you a bit. Its Tanveer Ghani as Jawaharlal Nehru, Denzil Smith as Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Neeraj Kabi as Mahatma Gandhi, who transport you to the Partition and the turmoil. Hugh Bonneville as Lord Mountbatten and Gillian Anderson as Lady Mountbatten are the perfect power couple that was needed to play these roles. From the audience’s point of view, this is one partition story that will be a good watch given, it comes out on DVD or satellite soon.
