Love Exchange brilliantly mingles two diverse cultures in an entertaining, lively and convincing manner, while capturing the essence of romance at the same time. The lead actor, Siddharth Sathe (Mohit Madan), a Maharashtrian boy, meets Shanoo Kapoor (Jyoti Sharma), a Punjabi girl, at his work place. Both of them become good friends and ultimately fall in love. But when the two decide to get married, things go wrong. Taking into account that the two are from different cultural backgrounds, they face a lot of difficulties trying to convince their parents for their wedding. The parents unite to separate the lovers. They put a condition for them to stay at each other’s house for three months to have a better understanding of the culture and then decide about their future.
