‘Jigariyaa’, set in the 80s, is the story of undying love that struggles to break through the norms of the society. You might call it old fashioned if you like, but this film manages to touch a chord because of its realistic style of storytelling and the obvious sincerity with which it is made. A special mention has to be made of the competent lead pair, Harshvardhan and Cherry, who, in spite of being debutants, seem pretty comfortable in front of the camera. Every love story has to have great music and in this regard, Jigariyaa doesn’t disappoint either Do watch if you are a deadly romantic and are looking for something other than the usual fare.
